Your Valentine

So some emails which I've got consent to share, I can see most people did not spend their Feb 14 together as it was Chinese New Year. There is this girl who tells me that she never celebrates Valentine's day with her partner. As usual I replied asking her why and she said because it's too commercialised and it is made special for those people who only treat this one day special. It is quite true but I believe it would be nice if couples could have a special day in a year too. Ofcourse it will be best if everyday is like V'day. There is also a reader who got her v'day present early which is a 3D2N trip to Phuket. This is such a great gift from the boyfriend. Some even took this opportunity to propose to their loved ones, all the best to these people. I've celebrated V'day a couple of times, it was just alright. I've got this hand made 3D entourage with pictures of me and my ex which was a gift after going through initial state of change in the relationship. So it was a nice effort but since every tom, dick and harry gets it I think it isn't that much of a desired gift. I love art and I think if I could do that for someone too it would be a good gift and it will be quite exclusive. So basically from my point of view V'day can be quite interesting because it will be like a test of faith and creativity for the couples to impress each other. Eventhough it is that one day in a year, your gift might have an effort of months, so do treasure those gifts that wasn't bought off the shelf. My bits of V'day is just that, nothing to shout about. Keep those interesting stories coming in. Always be patient to your loved ones. I've been really patient and nice, what about you?
