As far as I'm concern functionality to me comes second after design. You can say it is just for show or rather appearance but major marketing success comes from design. Everybody buys things with the first impulse and when something with better design is released it will probably change the person's decision. Beauty is a choice, how much are you willing to pay to be unique?
