Lamb to the slaughter

From the Bible (King James Version),

Jeremiah 11:19:

But I was like a gentle lamb led to the slaughter; And I did not know that they had devised plots against me, {saying,} "Let us destroy the tree with its fruit, And let us cut him off from the land of the living, That his name be remembered no more."

and Isaiah 53:7:

He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

After reading the blog of this particular cell group from SIB, I've noticed that believers who were innocent and naive could simply be used. This is due to the leaders or even friends around them whom actually send the wrong message to them. For God keep reminding us to watch out for traps and pretenders. Its really an unfortunate event to see young people nowadays sacrificing their partners for their own agenda. I think in a better way they should learn to grow together with their partners if the reason of sacrificing the relationship being the partner is stopping you from seeking God.

The partners being sacrifice for their effort and also love are just like what the subject of this blog. They are the like lamb to the slaughter. They who walked down this road and choose to be with you regardless of hard times or good times, the person who bring you smile and sorrow. One day they are beside you and the next day you disowned them. Its just like biting the hand that feeds you.

I personally think that we should reshuffle our priority in life but not forgetting we have also responsibility. Simply by following your own agenda and using HIS name as an excuse is just not right.

May these people be bless with wisdom from Lord, in order for them to identify the pretenders and also for them not to fall into pits/traps. Let them not fall into temptations. Forgive them for they do not know their mistakes.

Do as I say, not as I do
Mt 23:2-3 "The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat. So you must obey them and do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach
