Surroundings

We are always tied up with our surroundings whether we like it or not, but since we are able to distinguish good and evil, right and wrong. We should make choices not just for our own good but also think of the consequences. Friends are part of our surrounding and when they too are humans things can get messy because is no longer one mind working but a few minds working each and everyone having their own agenda. How do we make sure that we are making the decision? Well i would say pray hard and also see what is beneath the person, understand the person in a deeper manner to see what are the intentions. Just because alot of people do not think doesn't mean we should not spend the extra time to make things better. People who doesn't do this often missed the person whom loved them and could change his/her entire life, some even hurt people around them intentionally or accidentally because they are not mature enough to think in different aspects.

We are often influenced to fit in our surroundings, so for an instance if i were to be in a group of street punks i would dress like them, walk, talk and act like one because I have the mind set in me that I'm part of them. Now in reality that I'm in a christian fellowship surrounding, I'm glad that I've people who could guide me if were to go off track. This isn't a guarantee because we must understand that not all christians walk the path as we preached, some don't. That's why prayers and self rightousness is so important. When both are used correctly, we will find ourselves living in a life that we want, with loved ones around, caring for each other, the give and take process makes life more meaningful. When i was sharing last night to brother Jeremy, he was surprised that i came up with these thinking that i could understand so deeply that what is what and who is who. I even told him that i've been seeing life in a different way, asking God always to show me the way. In the end what i think matters is not whether you are strong or week, is a choice of whether you want to make a difference in life. One leads to happiness and the other sorrow and darkness.

Friends come and go, true friends stays, true companion never leaves even when they were being hurt, because they rather be hurt than see you hurt by your surroundings.
